Perform was founded in 2005 to create the kind of QA and performance consulting partner Amit Patel wanted when he was at Fidelity: less overhead, stronger collaboration, and engineers working directly with engineers. Over time, that foundation grew into a broader company supporting consulting, software delivery, AI, and engineering talent across a global team.

Perform started with a simple idea: build the kind of engineering services company clients actually want to work with. Amit Patel founded the business in 2005 after seeing the need for a stronger QA and performance consulting model, one with real engineering depth, direct collaboration, and less unnecessary overhead.
As the company grew, Perform expanded beyond its original roots in testing and performance engineering. The business added global talent support, launched staffing services in 2019, and continued evolving into a broader partner for consulting, delivery, and AI-related work. In 2024, the company rebranded as Perform to reflect that wider scope.
